1. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SparkPlug. By using our platform, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. The All-or-Nothing Model SparkPlug is a crowdfunding intermediary. We utilize an "All-or-Nothing" funding model.

• Goal Requirement: Funds are only disbursed to the Creator if the project meets 100% of its funding goal by the target date.

• Escrow/Nodal Holding: All contributions will be held in a secure Nodal Account managed by our payment partner for the duration of the campaign.

3. Creator Obligations

• Creators must provide an undertaking to share a completed work with the world.

• Misleading imagery or CGI renders for physical products are strictly prohibited.

• Funds must be used solely for the project described.

4. No Equity or Investment

SparkPlug is not an investment platform. No equity, revenue splits, or financial returns may be offered. Contributions are "backing" a creative process, not purchasing a security.

2. Privacy Policy

 

1. Data Collection

We collect personal information (Name, Email, Contact details) when you register your interest or back a project. This data is used solely to facilitate the crowdfunding process and platform updates (if you consent). Once the purpose for which the information was collected is completed, the data is deleted. We do not share or sell the data to any third parties.

2. Payment Information We do not store your credit card or bank details. All payments willl be processed through our PCI-DSS compliant partner under their secure environment.

3. Disclosure

We may disclose your information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service. ​

4. Cookies

We use basic cookies via Wix to analyze site traffic and improve user experience.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

1. Automatic Refunds In accordance with our "All-or-Nothing" model, if a project does not reach its 100% funding goal by the deadline:

• The Transaction is Voided: 100% of the contribution amount will be refunded to the original payment source.

• Timeline: Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days of the project deadline, depending on the bank’s processing time.

2. No Cancellations After Success

Once a project is successfully funded (reaches 100%), contributions are considered final and are disbursed to the creator to begin production. Cancellations or "change of mind" refunds are not permitted after the goal is reached.

3. Failed Delivery

The reward system is a good faith understanding between the Creator and the Backer. While SparkPlug assists in platform disputes, the legal responsibility to fulfill rewards lies solely with the Creator.
